If you inspire a woman, you inspire a family. If you inspire enough families, you inspire a community,” says Lori Palatnik, Executive Director and co-founder of JWRP. “If you inspire enough communities, you can change the world. Taking groups of women out of their daily lives for 9 days of learning and touring in the Land of Israel literally transforms them.” Here is an example of the trip from one of our participants from Dallas.
JWRP takes women to many of the most popular and dramatic sites, the natural wonders, the places in Israel that have formed the fabric of Jewish culture, history, and the Jewish soul. World-renowned Jewish women, speakers and authors share their stories and insights which spark discussions way into the night and leave lasting impressions. To date JWRP has brought 1,000 women from several different countries to Israel. The cost of the nine-day, all-inclusive excursion in 2011 is just airfare.
“I had the most incredible, soul discovering experience. I learned so much about myself, my religion, my worth as a woman and more,” says one woman who traveled from Dallas to Israel last year on a JWRP trip. “I met so many incredible people and know that we all grew together. I grew as a person, a Jew and a woman. I found so many pieces to my missing puzzle. It all fits now and works well. I felt at home in Israel, I belong there. We all belong there.”
JWRP is creating a Jewish women’s movement that encourages a renaissance of positive moral values. Eternal values like: Humility, Sanctity of Marriage, Importance of Family, Kindness, Involvement in Community, Modesty, and much more. JWRP hopes to help women transform themselves, their families, and their communities so that people can live with the deepest spiritual pleasure possible.
